Our weekly worship depends on the dedication of those who call this place their home. If you are interested in getting more involved in our worship, please contact us.
Altar Guild
The work of the Holy Trinity’s Altar Guild occurs quietly behind the scenes. They assist the clergy and other worship leaders in ensuring that worship services run smoothly. Caring for all items used in worship, from the sacred vessels and candlesticks, to the linens and hanging which we change seasonally or to accommodate special pastoral events. Altar Guild teams take turns serving.
Lay Eucharistic Minister
Lay servers assist with worship on Sunday mornings by serving in various liturgical roles. Lay servers administer the chalice during communion at the Sunday services and training is required.
Lector
Lectors read the lessons appointed from Scripture and lead the congregation in the Prayers of the People. Lectors are needed on Sundays at both the 8:00 am and 10:00 am services.
Acolytes
Acolytes help during the Sunday morning worship services by participating in a variety of duties, including carrying the cross in procession (crucifer), carrying the torches (torch bearer) and carrying the gospel book (gospeller). They also assist the celebrant in preparing the Altar for the Eucharist (crucifer).
Usher
Ushers work together as a team, rotating every week. Some of the duties include greeting churchgoers as they arrive, helping to orient guests and newcomers to our church, handing out the bulletins, assisting with seating, recording service attendance, answering questions and currently wiping down used surfaces.
Live Stream Assistant
We have made a commitment to continue offering worship on YouTube once we begin regathering for those who choose to remain at home. The LSA will setup the camera and computer, connect to our YouTube streaming channel, and ensure the equipment is working properly. Training will be provided.
Note: Only the 10:00 am service is livestreamed.
