The Women of Holy Trinity is open to anyone in the parish. As a group we promote fellowship and raise supplemental funds for the work of the church. We meet on the third Sunday of each month at 11:30 a.m. Volunteer opportunities include these annual events:
Annual Tea – The spring Garden Tea is geared to mothers, daughters and granddaughters. It’s an afternoon of dressing up, wearing a hat or fascinator, and enjoying the fellowship. Organizing the tea is a team who determine a theme, create an invitation, in fact, who attend to every detail. No matter your talents, there will be a fun job for you!
Quarter Auction – The Annual Quarter Auction occurs in late September/early October. Parishioners donate items for themed baskets that are auctioned off. This fun and entertaining evening for all members of the family starts with dinner, followed by the auction of at least fifty baskets and by the drawing of door prizes. The proceeds from this event go to Outreach. We are always looking for volunteers to assist with putting baskets together, with setting up, and with help during the evening.
Breakfast with Santa – Breakfast with Santa is the first Saturday of December. Many of our parishioners are busy even weeks before. It is our best annual fundraiser, offering photo ops for children with Santa and, sometimes, with Mrs. Claus. A pancake and sausage breakfast is offered, and baked goods and Christmas gifts are sold. Our incredible bake table has many people from the community at large returning year after year. Helpers meet several times prior to the breakfast to craft ornaments and holiday items to sell. Just as with the other annual events, we rely on the talents of many to make Breakfast With Santa a success. Volunteers include the men of the parish who cook breakfast and men and women who craft, bake, cheerfully man the sales tables and turn their willing hands to anything that needs doing.
